Snowsports in North Bay

North Bay is known for getting a lot of snow in the winter, which is also what makes it such a perfect area for snowsports. When you shop for winter activities with Lefebvre’s, you can guarantee expert knowledge when it comes to essentials for snowsports in our own community.

Laurentian Ski Hill and the North Bay Nordic Ski Club are perfect locations for you to ski or snowboard. It’s fun with both family and friends, or just yourself. Spend the day on the hill, then grab a bite to eat when you’re done.

There are many hiking trails in the area that are excellent for trekking and snowshoeing through during the winter months. Consider visiting Laurier Woods or North Bay Nordic Ski Club for a huge trail to snowshoe through!

Are you an ice skater? Do you want to learn how to ice skate? Lee Park’s outdoor rink is the perfect spot for both new and experienced skaters. Many local residents spend their winters here as a way to learn how to skate, or circle the rink with their loved ones.

Some choose to enjoy winter activities in their own backyard. If your backyard has the space, some choose to create a mini rink right at home. If you’re able to do this, this is a great way to spend time with your family, enjoy some ice skating, or even hockey if you so choose.

No matter how you choose to enjoy the season, North Bay has endless options for winter activities. Consider doing one of these activities for you next winter day out with your friends or family!
